1847 Marriage Records.......?

Question: 1847 Marriage Records!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?

Hello, i have found a marriage record for in the 4th quarter of 1847!. I have the volume and page numbers (Aylesbury VI and 587) and the name (Samuel Higgins) but not who he married!. I know her first name was Elizabeth but how do i find the book which could give me her surname!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Are you referring to the volume and page numbers found on www!.ancestry!.co!.uk if you are these numbers are the identifying numbers for any certificate ordered through the GRO!.

You can find birth, marriage and death records on freebmd!.org!.uk or find it by typing in freebmd on google!. If you click on the page number it gives you a list of names!. I just had a quick look on freebmd and one of the names listed was Elizabeth Plater, so I think that's your answer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
