check all of the newspapers near that area for that time period!. Trains were a new kind of transportation and big big news (like space shuttle big) and an accident would have been widely reported!. The local paper would most likely have more details about the victims but you may be able to at least confirm the event in neighboring papers!.

Your local library should be able to help you get in touch with other libraries if traveling to the library where the event took place is not possible or they could suggest alternative sources for you!.

researching genealogy is often times a long and slow process and occasionally you won't see results for a long time and then suddenly you get hit with a bonanza of info and all of your hard work pays off!.

enjoy the adventure of the search, we don't always complete it when we expect to!.

all local libraries in your area should either have, or have access to, old newspapers, generally on microfiche (within a county, all libraries have access to the same information - run by the council)

otherwise, do you have a local history centre!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
