I have never used it but as they've been providing this service since 1885 they should be fairly good at it by now!. I am a care worker and have had contact with my local branch of the Sally Army!. They have provided emergency food packs to clients who I have supported when they have ended up with out money or food a long time before their next benefits are due!. Some time ago an elderly gentleman had wandered onto a train in the town where he lives in a hostel and had ended up confused, lost and vulnerable at a scheme in the town where I work!. The local Sally Army paid without any question or condition for his ticket to get him back to the town he lives in a couple of hundred miles away!. In all the time I have had contact with them no one has so much as even mentioned religion!. Myself I am an atheist but I still have great respect for the work they do!. They just really seem to want to help!. If you use google you come up with various sites that do this kind of stuff although some seem to charge and it is difficult to tell which are reputable and which are not!.Www@QuestionHome@Com UK answer!.
