Question: Where can I get a copy of a Southern Ireland Marriage Certificate!?
Mrs H is researching her Family History and would like birth and marriage certificates relating to the Irish side of her Family!. We are based in the UK and are unable to travel to the Irish Republic!. Any help in searching records etc would be appreciatedWww@QuestionHome@Com

I too have been researching my Irish ancestors and have found the following website very helpful and they have supplied me with certificates, one even from 1860

Write or 'phone the Embassy of the Republic of Ireland in London explaining what you want, and requesting appropriate contact details!. You should have no problems, since the Republic uses the same system as the UK!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
