There are several Carl Waters, no Della Waters!.

Here is a Della Waters!. The census says she is widowed which is a nice way of saying divorced (sometimes)

Do you have your grandparents' approximate birth and death dates within five to ten years!? Ancestry!.com lists two Carl Waters who died in California, but no Carl Pinson Waters!. I've found a Della Dobbins Lathrop who was born on 31 Jul 1882 in Illinois and who died on 25 March 1952 in San Diego, California!. Does this sound like your great grandmother!?
