send me an email, I can get you all the information you need!. Seriously!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The rolls were for ENROLLMENT purposes, at the time!. If she was not enrolled, you cannot change history by "correcting" it!. The record as it is, is correct!.
Understand, this does not prevent you at all from getting the documentation of who she was, and (possibly) proof of her actual heritage!. Documentation includes records of yourself, your parents, grandparents, and also each of the greatgrandparents, and hopefully another generation back!. What IS possible, is that by proving her lineage, you may find siblings, cousins, etc who are included on the rolls OR OTHERWISE show Cherokee ancestry!. One possible record may be census records, for example!.
Understand, I am saying that tribal enrollment is required for present enrollment!. It is separate from proof/ documentation of gr grandma's ancestry!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

"To be eligible for CDIB/Tribal Citizenship with the Cherokee Nation, you must be able to provide documents that connect you to an enrolled lineal ancestor, who is listed on the (DAWES ROLL) FINAL ROLLS OF CITIZENS AND FREEDMEN OF THE FIVE CIVILIZED TRIBES, Cherokee Nation with a blood degree!. This roll was taken between 1899-1906 of Citizens and Freedmen residing in Indian Territory (now NE Oklahoma)!."

Unfortunately, the answer is no!.

This was very common and some that had their name on a list, went back and had them strike it out!. I heard about the stigma, through my line that has indian heritage, even by my grandmother into the 1960's!.
