Question: Does anyone know of a link between Thord Gellir of Iceland and the Gellers of the Cologne area!?

I have documentation back to 1600 for Gellers near Koln and Aachen!. But no farther!. Sagas indicate Gellir Eyolfsson went to Cologne Univ!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do you mean Gellir, son of Thorkel Eyjolfsson!? Wouldn't he be called Gellir Thorkelsson!?
