Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Do you know your grandparents names!? I can start looking from 1901 so if you have information that will help find someone living during this date, it would be easy to go backwards from there!. I did find two Daniel Brigstock Davies and some Ann Muriel Williams Dec 1902 - Pontypridd, Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan Dec 1892 - Pontypridd, Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan (he died 1893) Deaths Daniel Brigstoke Davies Birth: abt 1874 Death: Dec 1902 - Pontypridd, Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan marriages: Dan Brigstock Davies Year of Registration: 1900 Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar District: Ffestiniog County: Caernarvonshire, Merionethshire Dan Brigstock Davies Year of Registration: 1900 Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar District: Ffestiniog County: Caernarvonshire, Merionethshire Name: Muriel Ann Williams Birth: Dec 1901 - Swansea, Glamorgan, West Glamorgan Muriel Ann Williams Birth: Jun 1908 - Newport M, Glamorgan, Gwent, Monmouthshire Muriel Ann Williams Birth: Mar 1909 - Newport M, Glamorgan, Gwent, Monmouthshire Muriel Ann Williams Marriage: Dec 1908 - Hailsham, Sussex, East Sussex Name: Ann Muriel Williams Birth: 16 Jan 1911 Death: Mar 1994 - Hastings and Rother, East Sussex Ann Muriel Williams Birth: Jun 1878 - Bedwelty, Monmouthshire Ann Muriel Williams Birth: Sep 1890 - Merthyr Tydfil, Breconshire, Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan Ann Muriel P Williams Birth: 19 Jul 1904 Death: Nov 1992 - Haverfordwest, Dyfed Murrel Ann Williams Birth: abt 1889 - Kilybebyle, Glamorgan, Wales Residence: 1891 - Killybebyle, Killybebill, Glamorgan, Wales Www@QuestionHome@Com I'll see if I can find him on the NewFamilySearch website provided by the LDS Church!. Edit: The best name close to Daniel Brigstocke-Davies is Owen Brigstocke, born 1741, Carmathen, Wales!. His spouse's name was Ann Williams!. I saw no children or parentage named Daniel Brigstocke-Davies!. Sorry it didn't work out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com This was written for yanks, but it holds a lesson for you Brits!. You guys fought in the Revolution, but on a different side!. Viet Nam was in the 1960's - 1970's!. Consider this: IF (big IF) you are now 16 and the result of a long line of teen-aged lovers: You were born 16 years ago, in 1992; Your father was born 16 years before that, in 1976; Your grandfather was born 16 years before that, in 1960; Your great grandfather was born 16 years before that, in 1944!. IF (Another big IF) you are now 80 and the result of a long line of men who had a child by their second wives when they were 60: You were born 80 years ago, in 1928; Your father was born 60 years before that, in 1868; Your grandfather was born 60 years before that, in 1808; Your great grandfather was born 60 years before that, in 1748!. The Great-Grandfather born in 1944 could have been a 26-year old soldier in Viet Nam in 1970!. When he got home he might have gone to a disco in a powder-blue double-knit polyester leisure suit!. The Great-Grandfather born in 1748 could have been a 28-year old soldier serving under George Washington in the American Revolution in 1776!. When he got home, he might have danced a reel at a barn dance, in a pair of silk knee breeches and shoes with silver buckles!. Both examples are extreme, both are physically possible, both show why a birth year or even a birth decade help more than the phrase "my (great) grandfather"!. Www@QuestionHome@Com You made me have to look up Bournmouth and Cross Hands! It is always best to give more information than not enough!. I assume these towns are in the UK!. That said you need to be searching in the web pages with genealogy links to that area!. Here is a list of some nice web sites from the UK and the best part is they are free! Happy hunting!
