Question: Can any Irish Genealogists help me please!?
I am trying to trace my Irish grandparents and further back if possible!.
My mother, Mary Paget was born at 37,Cumberland road North in Dublin on 21st may 1924!. On her birth certificate her parents are Robert Paget (Labourer) and her mother was Kate Rohan!.
My mother was the second youngest of 9 children!.

I am guessing that her parents were born around 1890!.
Her father died when my mother was 14-about 1938!.

Could anyone please find the date of the marriage between my grandparents so I can work my way back!?
They were an Irish Catholic family!.
Thank you very muchWww@QuestionHome@Com

I couldn't find a marriage record but I did find a 1911 Census record that could this be the right family!. There is a Cumberland Street North, Upper located in the same area (Mountjoy), but there are no Paget's or Rohan's living on that street in 1911!.

I am also Irish/Catholic!. My cousins made a trip to Ireland and found alot of information!. I do not know if there is a way to find Irish Genealogy without making a trip, only because of the time frame!. Hopefully someone knows more than I!. Good LuckWww@QuestionHome@Com

A lot of Irish records including census returns were destroyed in the 1920s !. Some pre 1920 Irish records are found at UK National Archives in Kew London You can search their on line catalogue at http://www!.nationalarchives!.gov!.uk
