Question: Is it wierd to have a Chinese middle name when I'm half-Korean/half-English!?
Is it wierd to have a Chinese middle name when I'm half-Korean/half-English!?
My full name is Kayleigh Elizabeth Nott, I want to drop Elizabeth in favour of an oriental name!. I can't legally change my first name because it would hurt my parents feelings too much!.
I know my new name should be Korean because of my heritage, but I can't find any Korean names I like!.
I <3 Chinese names and their meanings- I feel like a Chinese name would suit me more!.
Would it be lame or disrespectful to go with a Chinese name!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your middle name isn't Chinese, Elizabeth is English derived from Hebrew!.
It means God!.

So your name isn't weird at all if you are half English!.

My name is Spanish/French and my surname is Welsh and I'm an American!.

For what it's worth I like your name!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do you really feel that changing your middle name will change your life!? Unless you believe in numerology it would be silly to change your middle name as most people don't even know your middle name!. Why not just give yourself a nickname rather than go through the hassel of changing the name your parents chose for you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
