Question: What is the origin of the surname Lison!?
I come from the Lison family which came from somewhere in Eastern Europe/Russia!. We are positive that the name is not related to the French variation!. I've also heard it may be Czech, from "lis" meaning fox!. Anyone know!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

"lis" is not the word for a fox in Czech!.!.!. it's actually "LI?KA"Www@QuestionHome@Com
