Question: Does anyone know a Elvira Martinez Chaidez!?

I'm trying to research my geneology!. She was my Grandmother, she died when my dad was still an infant!. He knows nothing about her!. She was married to a Placido Chaidez!. I know that the internet is probally not the best place to post personal information, but maybe I'll get lucky or at least get some information that might help me find out something about her!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am guessing that this may be your grandpa-
Name: Placido C Chaidez
Birth: 1 Sep 1898 - Mexico
Death: 24 Jun 1973 - Los Angeles
(that's from the Ca death index)!.
I also find him in the 1930 census, age 31, but the name of the wife then was Aurora, age 19!. That suggests to me that he easily could have had a first marriage, and Aurora is the 2nd wife!. If this is correct!.!.!. your dad was born pre 1930, but I cannot find a death record for Elvira!. Calif death records start about 1905!.!. but the online index does not show that early, on from 1940!.
From what I see!.!. if this IS grandpa!.!. then your dad must have been raised by someone else, hopefully grandma's family!? I cannot find him in the census, without a first name (if he is living, no!.!. do not post, but not an issue if he is passed away)!. You are welcome to send it privately through my profile!.
The Placido above, was born in Mexico!.!. so it will take a bit more digging to verify when he immigrated, and where the marriage (or grandma's death) would have happened!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
