First of all, Ancestry!.com is not a genealogy service!. They will not DO your genealogy for you; however, they have some resources that MIGHT help you!. Second, there are some good genealogists on this board that are quite capable of helping you with questions provided that you know what it is that you are looking for!. When putting out a request for help, you need to be specific about what you are looking for!. You can't just ask for your whole genealogy back 12 generations complete with sources!. It just doesn't work that way!. Genealogy is like an extreme puzzle and when you are researching, you are lucky if you can find one or two new things each time you research!.
So, my recommendation would be to formulate a question and let everyone know what you have found so far!. Too many people post questions with out giving out the backgroud information!.!.!. more specifically full names, places, and time frames!. No detail is too insignificant in a genealogy puzzle!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is really not the right way to go about it!. Like Wendy and HSK said, you need to ask a specific question!. What you are doing is a "blanket" request for someone to basically look at your tree and do it for you by filling in all the blanks!. What you NEED to do is to post each issue in its own question on here and deal with it one step / problem at a time, such as:

"Need help finding g-g-g-grandfather Joe Bob, born about 1840 in Oklahoma!. Was living in Arkansas at one time!. Can't find who his parents were!. He had a brother named Jim Bob and married a woman named Susie Q!. Please help me find his parents"!.

If you do that, you will get much more success on here from multiple people who have a variety of resources!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the standard setup here at yahoo answers is to POST YOUR QUESTION on the board, to give everyone an opportunity to offer help to you!. It is not fair to persons to ask you to look at your files on another site!.
The more people who SEE your problem, the better your odds that someone will be able to find the info!. Try to break it down to a specific problem (person) and include a location and estimated dates!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
