Looking for any family?

Question: Looking for any family!?

i'm looking for any family I might have!. My parents died right when i turned 19 and i only know a few very small details about my fathers side of the family!.( my parents where older when i was born (much older) I dont have any aunts/uncles (alive) from what my parents told me!. the only info i have is whats on my birth cefticate!. I've tried ancestry!.com but with no look!. any ideas!? Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

the number one question is WHERE (ie UK,, US!?!?) you need to be looking!.!. the resources are different!.
Death certificates for your parents SHOULD have the names of their parents!. The US census is searchable up to 1930, while the UK is only open to 1901!. If your parents happened to be born prior to 1930 (US), they would normally be in that census!. If not them!.!. their parents would be!.
The social security death index is another US source, which has deaths from about 1960!. Using that!.!. you should be able to access both ss#'s and send for the full file, including the applications!.
Use the parent's info to get to your grandparents info on both sides, then investigate if they did have other children, or you may 'bump' to the next generation back!.
