Question: Finding your birth family if you've been adopted!?
I was born in Russia and my mother passed away when I was 7 months old my father couldn't take care of 7 kids ranging in ages from 7months - 10years and he had to give up 6 of us!. I was fortunate enough to be adopted and am extremely happy!. I was just wondering how easy/hard it would be to find out about them now!? I know their names and stuff but I don't know if I'm reading about the right people!. Anyways it's just something I've thought about and wondered if there would be any info online or something!Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are many great international adoption agencies who have strong ties to the orphanages in Russia!. If the agency that fostered your adoption is still in operation, start by contacting them and ask if they're willing to help you initiate contact with your birth family!. I know many have done it for others, so it not a big stretch!. Just last year a family who adopted one girl from Siberia asked for permission to go back and adopt the rest of her siblings!. The agency and the courts were happy to help the girl who was adopted to reunite with the rest of her brothers and sisters!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
