The Cherokee rose is native ("indigenous to its soil") to the State of Georgia, it is generally accepted that the flower was introduced in North America from China, via England, sometime in the mid to late 18th century!.

The Cherokee rose is also the legendary tears of the women on the "Trail of tears"!.
So if you are Cherokee, you do have your origins in the Orient!. Our ancesteral people crosed over the land bridge of the Bering Streight!. Respect the myth of the turtles back, but recognize the truth!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Here's the legend about the Cherokee rose (flower, that is):
"When the Trail of Tears started in 1838, the mothers of the
Cherokee were grieving and crying so much, they were unable to help their children survive the journey!. The elders prayed for a sign that would lift the mother's spirits to give them strength!. God, looking down from heaven, decided to commemorate the brave Cherokees and so, as the blood of the braves and the tears of the maidens dropped to the ground, he turned them into stone in the shape of a Cherokee Rose!. The next day a beautiful rose began to grow where each of the mother's tears fell!. The rose is white for their tears; a gold center represents the gold taken from Cherokee lands, and seven leaves on each stem for the seven Cherokee clans!. The wild Cherokee Rose grows along the route of the Trail of Tears into eastern Oklahoma today!."

Although it's said to be native to Georgia (the state's flower),it is generally accepted that the flower was introduced in North America from China, via England, sometime in the mid to late 18th century!.
Please understand--just because things connected to the Cherokee MIGHT HAVE COME from China, does NOT mean YOU are Chinese!. Especially in this case--unless you have a stem, and petals (not meant in a nasty, mean way, but humans and plants are 2 different things)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The fact that a PLANT is thought to come from China, is not any proof at all that Cherokee PERSONS came from China!. This is completely ridiculous!. You are not descended from a plant!.
There are persons who accept the theory that Native Americans "really" came from Asia!. It is a THEORY, and not everyone thinks it is accurate!.
If you want to do your ancestry, you can only state those facts which you have proof to show!. Meaning!.!. you cannot claim to be part Chinese unless you can find some magic record that proves your gr gr gr gr grandfather was born in China!.
Before you try to do any research!.!. PLEASE!.!. investigate what proof means and what a theory means!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
