According to the 1841 Census there is an Aaron Parkes living in Birmingham with:

(Aaron Parkes 65)
Elizh Parkes 20
Henry Parkes 3
Jane Parkes 10
Thos Parkes 25

Looking at the ages some of these may have been Grandchildren (the 1841 census doesn't specify relationship to head of household)!.

There is a Baptism record in Birmingham on the IGI for Jane which lists the mother's name as Sarah (father's name Aaron) but there is no marriage!.

The only thing I could suggest is trying to order Henry's birth certificate on the off chance that he was their son and born after 1837!. This would give his mother's full name!.

I think to find the answer for this one and it's a real long shot, you would have to search the parish registers for Jemima's baptism details!. Civil registration didn't begin until July 1st 1937, so there were no birth certificates in the year Jemima was born!. The parish records began in 1538, but I am not sure whether the parents were named on the parish records!.

I have just checked on the Pallots Baptism index on www!.ancestry!.co!.uk and both parents are named on all the baptisms being displayed for my search criteria!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
