Position:Home>Genealogy> What's a good naem for a diary?

Question:I don't write my diary as if I'm talking to another person, or a character. I write it to myself, because I know I will read it back in the future. I just write the date, and then start writing what's on my mind.

But if it's a name you want, a lot of people choose "Kitty" after Anne Frank's diary, but it's probably too widespread now. I think if I did this, I would probably use my favourite name in the world. Just make sure you're not going to call your kids that name in the future!

If you're not too fond of this idea, how about writing as if you're writing to a lost relative. Like a passed parent or grandparent. That way it might help you feel like they're helping you to deal with your day-to-day problems.

I think Heart Song sounds like a great name for your journal. I say Heart Song because it sings the song of your heart.
