Question:What is going on.... Every time I log into Genealogy here, that seems to be all I see.

Why is that so many people feel the need to prove they are an Indian?

Never I've traced my family history back to an Indian, it's always help me to prove that I'm an Indian.

Do the research of your family history already, and if you really are part Indian, then you will see it right before your very eyes in black and white.

True, but some people want "proof"; finding it in black and white is NOT proof in and of itself.
Different nations (including Indian) have different requirements for "proof"; these folks want to cash in on Indian benefits and want the type proof the tribes require.
I am part Native American, including Innuit and Eskimo. It is nice to know, but is NOT "proof".
