Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: dad-
17% indian

mom-
100% puruvian
wats the percentage of the kids??

50 % puruvian 6.5% puerto rican 35%mahari 8.5%indian

Divide by 2

Divide by 2, as others have said, but -

they are either
1/2 = 50%
1/4 = 25%
1/8 = 12.5%
1/16 = 6.25 %
1/32 = 3.125%

1/32nd is the GGG grandparents, 5 generations and 150 years ago. Very few people, outside of genealogists, know who their GGGGP's were. I can't come up with a combination that makes 17%. 3/16ths is 18.75%. 12.5 rounded is 13%.

The kids are a majority "Hispanic", if she is applying for a scholarship, since "Hispanic" includes all Lationo and Native American lines. ("Indian" can be red Indian, like Cherokees, or East Indian, like Punjabis. Even so, the 13% PR from Dad and 100% Perunana from Mom make the kids 66.5% Hispanic.)

It's sad that things like this still matter to people. I'd be more worried that your friend can't cope with very basic mathematics.
