Is there anyway i can find out online if one of my relatives is still alive for

Question:its almost a weird morbid curiosity of my grandmother is still alive but i would really like to know. i know her date of birth etc but would like to know if she has died when etc
i have tried several times online but come up with nothing of any interest. i have not seen her in about 2 years and have no contact with any of my family anymore so could not ask them

Have you looked through the death records for her name? If she married, she would be recorded as her married surname. You can scan death records through genes reunited or ancestry. Or even www.freebmd.org.uk for free lookups, although their information focuses on the earlier part of the 20th century at the moment.
