Question:i cant seem to get anywhere past my grandfather with this name,, i have no idea what nationality it is. or what it means or where it came from,, can anyone tell me anything ???

There is a Frank Logrien in the 1880 census, living in a children's home. It lists his parents as coming from Sweden. There is also a Joe Tony Logrien, whose WW1 Draft registration lists his place of birth as Russia.
I can't find anyone else by that surname in the Ancestry.com immigration records.
