Question:i dont mean her singing career i mean by what she has done good to the world

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: i dont mean her singing career i mean by what she has done good to the world

Her most famous one was to hold her head up high when the DAR said she couldn't use their concert hall, swallow her disappointment and sing for 50,000 people in front of the Lincoln Monument, instead. Her friends, Franklin and Elanor Roosevelt, helped. She wore a fur coat. It is in the Smithsonian.

Keeping her head up and her dignity intact in the face of the thousand little snips and taunts from a racist society in her era doesn't count as an "act" - it counts as strength of character.
