Position:Home>Genealogy> Has any 1 published a book using ancestry, if so did it turn out good?

Question:Hi,

I had occasion to speak with one of the advisors on Ancestry about a month ago, and I did ask about the book which you can have published,as I thought it might be quite nice too.

Apparently, they take all the information that you have put on the site, including pictures, and encapsulate it all into the Album. I have heard that it is a very nice keepsake for the future. I am thinking of having one done when I can afford to do it, and when I have finished my research.

I suppose you mean has any one on Yahoo! answers ever published such a book. I would like to, as I have a lot of information, and obviously my ancestors way back when would be the ancestors of many other people.
One descendant of my ancestors, William A. Martin, did publish a book on genealogy, "A Martin Genealogy", "Tied to the History of Germanna, Virginia", Heritage Books, Inc., Copyright 1995. It is one of the best genalogy books I have ever read, easy to read, categorized, indexed, etc.
So, if you are thinking of writing your own genealogy book, may I suggest you obtain a copy of A Martin Genealogy to see how it can be done to be both a good source AND easy reading.
