Position:Home>Genealogy> How can I find an old flame when the searches don't bring her up?

Question:I am 39 she must be about 34. We knew each other in Seattle, Washington. She was half french and half Italian, went to UW, lived on the University Avenue. I know her first and middle name. We knew each other between 1993 and 1995. I hae many things going in my life, but I think the quality of my life will improve if I see her again even for an hour.

old flames are hard to put out are'nt they???

Did you have any friends in common? Maybe try to contact one of them. Or, maybe you could check with the alumni association of UW? But, are you sure that is a good idea? If you didn't bother to keep in touch and you don't know her last name, it might really freak her out if you find her. Plus, think she might be married, have kids, etc...unless you just want to talk to her as a friend. Good luck anyway.

Look for a detective agency that specializes in lost loves. Try some of the free and not-so-free people search engines on line.

You are fooling yourself and mooning about paths not taken, but . . .

Most university alumni associations will forward a letter for members. You write your name, e-mail address, phone number, snail mail address and a brief message on a stamped postcard, leaving the address blank, send it to the UW Alumni association, ask them to send it to "Mary Smith", class of 19xx. If they have her address on file they will. If not, they won't. If she wants to get in touch with you, she does.

Call or write to see if they will do it.
