From what I have heard and noticed when traveling in Mexico, there are a lot of Hispanic people with much fairer skin and lighter hair than others.

Maybe you should try and talk to your Mom about your Dad, there is nothing to be uncomfortable about finding out what your heritage is. If you do want to research your ancestry, I guess you'll have to ask her some things. You could tell her you are doing a family tree and you need some info.(names, dates, locations) about your grandparents from both sides of your family. Once you have that informaiton, you could look into these free sites:

http://www.rootsweb.com/
http://www.familysearch.org/ (this one has free family tree software and records)
http://www.tedpack.org/yagenlinks.html (this one has good advice for getting started, plus lots of links)
http://www.cyndislist.com/hispanic.htm (lots of free links in this one)

Good luck!

idk but my bff is hispanic and she has bronn eyes light brown hair and light skin. but i cant help u sorry

you should ask your mom. she might suprise you.
everyone is curious about were they come from.
or you should ask someone else in your family.
it's very important to know were you come from.

Get your birth certificate. It will tell you who your father is. Or try to find old family photos that will show pictures of him.

Trace your last name,,, Is his last name a Spanish one? You do realize that the Western Spanish speaking world was established by people from Spain: which is in Europe.... where people are generally white.....

There's lots of "white" people in South America and Mexico...

The only way for you to REALLY know is to find your dad or a family member from his side to tell you.
