Genie - ology???

Question:Why cant a genieologist grant me a wish like a real genie? Or do they just communicate with them. If a genieologist is out there please grant me a wish or send a genie to my house!!!

A genealogist studies family trees and researches them for people--for a fee. They don't grant wishes. Those types of genies are fictional.

If you want a genealogist, they charge big bucks, with no guarantees. Or, you can go to a book store, buy books on Genealogy 101, or similar, read up, see where you want to start. Or, you can go the local public library, check out books, magazines, etc., on genealogy, use the web to browse sites such as www.ancestry.com or www.heritagequest.com.
That is practically a genie.

I'll be happy to send you 5 kids to clean your house. The only caveat is that you have to feed them first...and they eat a whole lot.
