Position:Home>Genealogy> How do I find the father I never met?

Question:I recently asked my mother who my father is and I am now trying to search for him online, but am not having any luck. I've got his name and a son's name. I've tried googling, myspace and facebook, and looking for listings in the town he was last known to be in. Any other ideas?

Have you tried doing a people search, for some information you might have to pay but sometimes they give you free stuff like current address etc. You could hire a PI though that could be costly. You might try and contact a search angel now they general help people who are adopted find their birth family. However they are very kind people and I’m sure you could find one that would be willing to help you out.

You might also ask your mother if she has the names of any other relatives of your father. That you could search for as well, since if you found them they might have more information about your father.

Try searching for other relatives....sisters, brothers, parents.
Your mother may be able to help.
Also, if he paid child support, the court may know his whereabouts. Good luck.
You could also try "anywho.com".

idk ask ur mother
