Google > Serbian Genealogical Societies <
That should give you a start, there will be English speakers
with Serbian roots I am sure. Or you could try Genes-Reunited, or Rootsweb.

I use translation sites regularly, and have found a site that can translate Serbian into English and vica versa.

If you paste the website written in Serbian into the box for URL on the site I have given you a link to, it will translate the whole site you are looking at as you go from page to page.

When doing this make sure when you have the translator page working for you that you only use your back button when you have finished on a page as you will have to start over again if you click on the cross in your browser window.

Good luck and happy hunting.

I had the same problem in Alsace (although I speak French) as there is no centralised French record service available on the Internet.

In the end I had to hire a local professional genealogist to do the work for me and she got me to a point where I could use the IGI.

It was expensive but considering the records were in French, German or Latin depending on the year and were practically illegible it was worth it!

You could try searching for a genealogist in Serbia and contact them for advice?
