considered lulu.com? It's a legit self-publishing site.

Then other people (family members, or whatever) could buy one too.

Good luck - it sounds like a very interesting project.

Have you checked out Lulu.com? It's a self publishing site. Might be easiest to do something like that and just get a copy yourself then take it down out of your 'shop'. Or perhaps leave it there for other family members to purchase a copy.

Hardcover info

Go to a university printers - there are plenty around or one off binders - there are plenty around or try www.goldenmemoriescharts.co.uk she designs charts but she has also done family tree books to a professional standard - you will be pleased with the results

If you are a member of Ancestry.co.uk or .com they have a facility on there whereby you can have your trees printed out into a beautifully bound family album with all the info in it for £25.00 or thereabouts, or if in the US or another country for the equivalent.

Pen Press offer a complete self publishing package, with the aim of the successful production and sale of your book.

At the moment they have an offer, and can turn your manuscript into five bound paperback copies for only £49.95.

Please allow for a minimum of 28 days delivery. Please note that this offer doesn't include editing, typesetting or ISBN registration. For a more comprehensive publishing service, you need to look at their website.

Good luck.

Did you know you can self publish your book yourself and control the whole design and marketing process.

Heres a few ideas to consider
1. create a free blog with passwords and only family members can see the book online
2. self publish your book with your own book cover for just your family members and send them a copy email, its so much easier and cheaper
3. the free blog site is located at wordpress.org and blogger.com is alot easier owned by google.
4. with your free blogger.com blog and password protected only give this to family members to see the history book and its free and takes about 3 minutes to set up

PS - one of the best places for genealogy research is at the univ of utah or bringham young univ, one of these has one of the best, do some research here...
