yes!................But I bet your friend gets tired of people mispronouncing it!

It is a very pretty name, but if you are thinking of naming a child this, you may want to consider the computer program with the same name. Kids are cruel, and will try anything to rip on another kid. Prolly not to likely to happen, but still something to consider.

Edit: I understand its not prononced like the program, but being simular to they are more than likely going to call the child that anyway. Until the child corrects them repeatedly

Well it all depends on how you say it, it could very well be sounded like the program.

You're asking so I have to say I don't like it, but I'm sure your friend is perfectly happy with it, as he/she should be, and for the record, I never liked my own name growing up either.....

This is a no-win situation. This is an OPINION question........not anything for which a response would be fact. The sad thing is, people will get thumbs down for having an opinion.
