Question:I have a huge midterm tomorrow, and i am trying to figure out a problem she gave us on the essay, it asks "describe the multiregional/continuity model and the replacement/out of africa hypotheses for the origin of modern Homo sapiens. How does the fossil hominid taxon, Neanderthal, figure in these models? Describe one test implication from the archaeological or fossil hominid record if the continuity model is correct. Does the archaeological and/or fossil hominid record in fact demonstrate the pattern demanded by the continuity model? Explain why or why not? Bring in examples to support your points." I have the first part about the Multiregional, and out of africa hypothesis, im just wondering abou the other part. Any information will be put to good use so if you have any ideas please tell me. 10 points for sure to best answer. and yes, i have gone through my notes, and i have been studying for over 4 hours. Thanks for the help.

This is the genealogy board. We do not do anthropology or archaeology. They are not related to genealogy. You would do better to post this in the right forum.
