id say 1978, then i could skip all that hippy crap

1978 because I would be younger now.

1978, first of all the great depression began during that year i think, and next It would be past all of the majors wars

1928, my facial features look more from that time and I act like I am from that time due to my upbringing. I think I would fit in more.

1928. Think of all the stuff you would live through. War, the Great Depression, then the 50's with the fashion and the rebellion, then the 60's with feminism.
You would really see the world grow into what it is today. It would be like living the history books. It would be utterly awesome.

1978- More advanced technology.

Definately 1978, such a great year! I was born then...lol
Wouldnt change it for anything.

1928

I have and always will be old fashion. I am 28... I wear a suit, overcoat, and fedora so I already fit in. A person's word meant something in 1928, now being lied to is just part of life. One of the greatest times in American history was upon the country. People view the great depression as a tragedy but Americans have always been better at facing adversity than dealing with success. Look at how we have a sense of entitlement today but 30 years ago when those "hippies" were forcing the government to change, at least they were succeeding. Now people don't even vote, much less get anything accomplished.

Some of the greatest social accomplishments of our country came during that time. Roadways, hydro-electric systems, and monuments were only a taste of the "socialist" things we did to save our democratic way of life. We built the infrastructure for the most powerful country in the world with socialist programs designed to bail out a system dictated by idiotic capitalist politicians like the ones we have today.

I would rather be born in 28 and serve in Korea, support civil rights, and landing a man on the moon than .... I cant think of anything significant post 1978 that isn't an improvement on something that already existed.

Sorry...1928 just wins.

1978 no question. If you were born in 1928 you'd have experienced the Second World War and being a Londoner I don't fancy living through the Blitz.
