I've heard that much of the aging of one's skin is from the sun. White people are more sensitive to the sun than blacks or Asians. The melanin in darker people's skin is protective.

I don't know about skin thickness, but I am pretty sure that there are oily and dry skinned people of all colors.

Also, most blacks and Asians sunbathe less than white people, so they end up with less damage anyway. However, if a person works outside for a living (anyone) then they do get more skin damage and tend not to look as good.

medittereans age great as well

boy that's a generalization if i ever heard one and actually i don't think it's true. i used to live on hawaii and i have been to china and japan and korea and what i noticed? the women wear a TON of makeup - they are not more or less youthful than anywhere else. i think it just depends on the individual person and how well you take care of yourself and also your own personal idea of what 'aging well' looks like. i've seen some pretty dang ugly old black and asian people, sorry to say. the same for whites. it just depends.

Well as the saying goes...Black Is Beautiful !!!
