Position:Home>Genealogy> I have a question about Ancestry.com?

Question:I have entered members of my family and it gives little hints but you have to subscribe to see the whole report which costs money. I keep getting this message:

http://www.ancestry.com/security/deny.as...

It says it will give me 14 days free, and in tiny print under that it says you can cancel at any time. I I get the 14 days free then cancel?

I am a member and I got to see the information, I will email it to you. I have emailed you.

You can do that but I am always a bit wary because they ask u for your bank details when you subscribe not at the end of the 14 day free trial . . . therefore I worry if they don'tprocess the cancellation in time you will end up being billed for the subscription which they will take straightout your account.
Perhaps I'm just a bit over cautious !!!!!

I have ancestry.com. I can look up the info & email it to you.
You can also get the 14 days free then cancel.

You have to put your credit card up to get your 14 days free, but it's not that easy to cancel afterwards, and to be fair once you have used it you won't want to give it up!!
What is it you need to find on there? If it's just one thing email me and I will see if I can find it for you. English only, not American, I'm not subscribed to that. xXx

Your public library might have a subscription to Ancestry.Com you can use.

If someone with an account could email me my familys info much appreciated? ill respond with Info

The warning means you are denied access to the report unless you become a full member. You can get a 14 day free trial period, but if you want to cancel it, do it on the 13th day because the next day they will take the cost of the program you signed up for out of your credit card (meaning the American deluxe--where you can see only the USA records; or the World deluxe--where you can go to any of their affiliate sites like in England, Germany, Italy, Australia, etc and use your USA user name/password).
If a report shows like a sheet of paper to the left of it, you can see it with no charge. But if it shows a closed folder or a padlock, you have to be a member to see it.

PS--Anybody needing help with their family tree, my email address is in my profile. Just send me what you're looking for and I'll do my best to find it.
