The basics:

In 1998, there were 526 people in the UK with this surname, an almost 100% increase on the 253 people recorded in the 1881 census.

Top areas : Bedford, Peterborough, Milton Keynes.

That's not many, but how many of those 526 are individual family units it is impossible to say. I suppose if you divided them by the typical 'nuclear family' (2 parents and 2.4 children), you'd get something like 119/120 families, but that's hardly scientific.
