You look a bit slavic. Perhaps Russian/Ukranian/Rumanian. I could help you more if you know your birth name!

You look like a person who doesn't know his name...

Ukranian, there are many boys that look like you on the streets there.

I would say German or East European

I suspect that you have a lot of German ancestry. Most German immigrants settled in the Northern and Midwestern states of the U.S. However, one group of German Protestants called Moravians settled in North Carolina in the 1740's and 50's. (I'm assuming from your cap that you live in North Carolina).

The British could never get enough English people to settle in the Thirteen Colonies. Yet, they had fears that the Spanish in Florida might try to seize the Southern colonies. So, they allowed numerous Scotch-Irish, Germans, French Huguenots, even a few Poles to settle there as an additional barrier against the Spanish.

If you were adopted, it is almost always possible to eventually find out who your birth parents were. It can be a tedious process sometimes. It's much like doing detective work where you begin with only a few shreds of information and gradually, you acquire more and more. One of my sisters did it with my mother who was adopted.
