Hi: An internet phone book like www.whitepages.com or www.switchboard.com would allow you to search the areas around where you found the address in 2004 for people with the same name. I have made phone calls looking for people in a specific family (after finding a hundred-year old diary and identifying the family name and location), and have been successful most times. Long distance is pretty cheap, and if you don't get the right person, they are more likely to know someone else with the same name from the same area.

Good luck

There are two databases that may help, but they are not free. You may get access through your local library (or call around to other nearby libraries until you find one)

1. America's Obituaries and Death Notices: Even if they are still living, it is likely that SOMEONE to whom they are related died AND that they will be mentioned in the obituary, often with the town where they live.

2. NewsLibrary.com:
Search for newspaper articles and/or public records listings in the paper

#1 is only available at libraries, as far as I know and #2 is at libraries and online (you'll have to pay for articles you want, but searches are free)

Good luck!
