I am looking for the origin and meaning of the family name "Touzani"?

Question:I know that the name "Touzani" is widely present in Morocco (mainly in the Rif mountains area). I was told that "Touzani" name is present in Tunisia and Italy as well. What is the origin of "Touzani" Family? What does it mean? Are Touzanis Arabs or Berbers?

You have a rare one. 1910 census has a family of 3 living in Arizona. 2 were husband and wife born in Italy and the daughter born in Arizona.
