My first known ancestor proven is William Street, born around 1680 + or - 10 years and died 1752 in Virginia. Who are William's ancestors? He married Jane Waddy. http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/use... the files here also indicate William is supposedly a son of Rev Samuel Street and Anna Miles. Red flag- the Rev Samuel Street is shown as having died in Conn, but son William was born in New Kent co, Virginia? Personally.. that is a strong suggestion to me that someone didn't do their homework. It is VERY common with early families that there are more than one person with the same name, and that the documentation is disputable. Any file is only as good as the documentation behind it. I worked at an LDS library for a time.. I KNOW that many of their submitted files have errors. http://genforum.genealogy.com/waddy/mess... this person has posted numerous sources relating to Jane Waddy and Waddys who were in Virginia, especially how they may relate to the Street family. OMG I AM RELATED 2 JANE WADDY. WE ARE RELATED OMG I found William on www.familysearch.org.uk it said he married Jane Waddy in 1710, and that he was born in 1680.
