Just out of curiousity... was the woman you are named after either Jewish or Yiddish?

The name Frema is actually very similar to Fruma which comes from Yiddish, meaning pious. Often a good omen for a name given to a young girl from a religious family. Something that was very important to parents from the 1940's and earlier.
