The best route is to locate the town/ village where the mother and daughter lived, and search the relevant church records. Some birth records in that time will indicate if the child was out of wedlock. Once you have the town, it will then be possible to search for other persons of the Asher name.
Also, in America, it often comes as a surprise that there will be a court record of an out of wedlock birth, and if the father is known, he is sometimes ordered to pay support for the child.
The Mormon Church has extracted many church registers, and I found this...(for the daughter)

09 JUN 1881 Hannover Stadt, Hannover, Preussen
Christening:
21 JUN 1881 Hannover Stadt, Hannover, Preussen

with this date, I will assume that this MAY be the entry from that church... and it shows the mother as you say.
It would be needed to see if court records or other documents survive for this town. I see no entry at all in the Mormon database for someone of his name.
Sometimes for an illegitimate birth, no documents ever were made. Hard for genealogy, but fact.

Have you spelt the middle name correctly "Maria" isn't that a female name, could you clarify please.
