Position:Home>Genealogy> Where can I find out all of the world records ever made?

Question:I have tried Wikipedia and the Guinness book of world records site, but they only give out records from this year, and I'm looking for all the records ever made (so do NOT spam this question with suggestions of Wikipedia or the Guinness Book's home page). Can someone please help me?

The Church of Latter Day Saints probably probably hold more Genealogy records of the World than any other Authority.
The original copies are stored in Salt Lake City.
The British Museum hold many records.
The Library at Collingdale have records of newspapers.
The War Museum will hold records of conflicts.
As far as I know, nobody yet has attempted to gather them all into one big heap.

I doubt there is a book with every year's record for every field/contest/endeavor, but there are books with those records for specific fields -- that is, all the boxing titles, world series winners, etc.

A yearbook (an annual publication with facts and figures, not the high school kind) often will list some records for all years in at least sports.

Try your local public library for an annual, or ask a librarian for books listing records for a particular topic.

You can try the official websites for sporting organizations, etc., for a complete list of bests in certain fields.
