Question:I know that the parents of the two whom got married were included in the act, but what about the grandparents?

It was rare for grandparents to be mentioned. That usually only occured when the grandparents were the legal guardians of an under-aged female and had to be listed for purposes of giving consent to the union. To find grandparents, you would have to search back a generation to find the next marriage record in the line.

why is this an emergency now?????

I have never come across Grandparents being named on official marriage paper work, you will need to do a tree to find this information.
