Position:Home>Genealogy> Is the family name Sigler german?

Question:Yes, so you should be tall, blond and meticulous, but largely unemotional, and you boil most of your food. Your idea of a 6-course meal is three bottles of Dortmunder Union and three bratwursts. <wry ironic chuckle>

has 20,000 of them; 10,000 if you check "Omit Blanks" next to "Birth place".

If your dad married a Chinese lady, it is now Eurasian, in your case. If you are Black, then your ancestors were either owned by or admired someone named Sigler.

If your ancestors moved to London in 1507, it has been English for 500 years.

You can't tell much from surnames. A lot of Chinese named Lee are not related to Robert E. Lee, the confederate general.

Most likely, I bet it was once Zigler. Z's tend to become S's when converted to English. I just received a letter from my Daughter-in-law whom is German, She typed the word December as Dezember.
