I'M SO SORRY for your loss. I know this is hard on you. After your initial grieving, surround yourself with friends who care, go back to work/school, get involved in your church, volunteer and "adopt" an elderly person at a nursing home, just don't sit home and dwell on it. Life is for the living, get on with yours (I lost my dad 15 years ago and thought my life was over, but it wasn't). Grieving is part of healing and you can allow yourself some grieving time, but just don't make a habit of it. Your grandma would want you to live life to the fullest!!!

Just recently someone I was close to passed away. Everyone deals with grief in a different way, I still have my grandma and I don't know what I would do if she dies. This may sound weird but I like to read books and wath movis that the person I'm missing liked.

Are you asking for help in dealing with your grandmas passing or are you asking because you lived with her and she was the only legal family you have? I wasn't sure.

I am sorry to hear about your loss.. Nothing anyone can say can really make this better. I don't know what belife system you have but if you believe in the afterlife and heaven and God and all of that try to take comfort in the fact that she is out of pain and that she is in a beautiful place. I hope you you can find comfort.

woah, it's time to make your own family
