Question:Trying to trace ancesters from Wicklow, having difficulties. Can any one advise me? Are Irish B.D.M.avilable on c.d.? If so, where from? Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. All the Irish searchers want a fortune and will not guarantee to find anything for me

To be honest, It aint easy tracking ancestors in general. The best records kept though here in Ireland are ones of Parish , and church records, even graveyards. ( Presuming) its of catholic origin your family are, even if not, the local churches in the area would have birth and death records and family records through the years. Then, it takes work, and a lot of it to find exactly what you want.

I would say you would be better to enquire at the library they will be able to give you the most accurate information ,or they will put you in the right direction
