not sure if this of help, i've researched 5000+ names from Shropshire war memorials
I have a man named Henry George Maurice Brooks Mumford who at some point lived at Wellington Telford Shropshire, he died 29/08/1918 in France aged 27.

However prior to the war he had emmigrated to New Zealand
he was married when he died to an Isabella Mumford of Dunedin.

i do have a photograph of Mr Mumford taken before he departed for the war, feel free to mail me if you would like this
