Question:I have two ancestors who were involved in a court case - one involved with the coroners court after he was found dead in a lake in 1904 and one who was at the crown court in 1869 for hitting his wife on the head with a scythe. Will there be records anywhere at what was actually said at these hearings? And, if so, where will they be?

If you know the name of the court it may be worth having a chat with them regarding any archives they may have. There are archive centre in london.Good luck with this i find this of great interest.

Try the local record offices, or local newspapers which would have carried a story. You could also try the web site below
