you cannot

£7.50 per certificate have not found anywhere to view free yet ,i am doing the family tree and the only way i found is to pay it gets costly.

You cannot do this on line or anywhere else for that matter.

Try the free trial on Ancestry.com You can't view the actual certificate, but it provides all of the same info. I learned this the hard way.I purchased a few, then found out it's all the same info. You can also back it up with viewing the census records. Just make sure you cancel the free trial within a week or so, so you don't get charged.
Good luck and happy searching.

You cant, birth certificates are private, and its unlikely that they will ever be made available for viewing on line. You can order copies where the birth was registered for £7:50 0r from the GRO for £8:50 http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ to buy one from the GRO you will need the volume and page numbers.
Hope this helps.

I don't think free viewing will ever happen, the authorities make too much money out of it. The problem with the indexes, whether at the Family Record Centre or Ancestry UK, is that it doesn't show exact dates or places. It also means you are never sure exactly what you are buying, and I have heard of many people paying for the wrong certificates as they follow red herrings.

Every family is different, and for me, I was fully able to pick up lineage using alternate methods (census, cemetery records, so forth).
If you stop to think about it.. if birth certificates were out there, you can bet every ID thief from here to Singapore would be having a field day. It is not something you would want. I sure don't want mine accessible to anyone except myself.
Don't lose sight of the fact that birth certificates are NOT created for genealogy purposes. It is reasonable that if you want them for purposes other than the intended reason, expect that they will cost. You have the right to search for your ancestors.. doesn't mean that you have the right to all info being free.
